MANILA, Philippines - At least four carjackers armed with guns took a brand new van from its driver in Quezon City Thursday night.
Police said a Toyota Hi-Ace Super Grandia, which only had conduction sticker TI4736 was taken along Rosa Alvero Street in Loyola Heights at past 8 p.m. from family driver Rodolfo Elfos, who had dropped off his employer, Cecil Padilla, at a restaurant along Katipunan Avenue before parking the vehicle.
Elfos said the carjackers dumped him along Banawe Avenue, where he was able to report the incident to the police.
