Pasay police recovers stolen taxi

MANILA, Philippines - Pasay City police yesterday recovered a taxi, which was stolen from its driver while he was relieving himself in a public urinal along Roxas Boulevard.

Senior Superintendent Napoleon Cuaton, Pasay City police chief said they immediately alerted all police stations in the National Capital Region, after the taxi driver, Aquilio Rasona reported the incident at 7 a.m. yesterday.

The taxi was recovered shortly before noon as the Pasay City police received a flash report that the taxi was found abandoned somewhere in Makati City.

“Our operatives are conducting follow up operations to arrest the suspect,” Cuaton said.
