NCRPO: Dental clinic rapist has tattoo
MANILA, Philippines - The man who molested at least 20 female dentists in Metro Manila and nearby provinces has a tattoo on his right thigh, police said yesterday.
Investigators told The Star at least five victims, including a dentist from Pampanga, claimed to have noticed the tattoo while the attacker was molesting them.
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Director Alan Purisima said the tattoo and other evidence they could have help make a positive identification of the attacker.
“The tattoo is irrelevant in the case. But it could help us positively identify the suspect with the help of the tattoo, his three missing teeth and his damaged right upper first molar,” Purisima said in an interview.
He also said they have samples of the attacker’s handwriting from the patient information sheets he filled out before molesting and robbing the dentists.
The victims said while they noticed the tattoo on his right inner thigh, they could not describe it because he would order them in Kapampangan not to take their eyes off his genitals while he masturbated.
“Once we compare these tattoo and tooth evidence with the stroke of his penmanship in his information sheet kept by the dentists, we are positive (we can) have the principal suspect charged in court,” Purisima said.
