Boy's body found floating off Navotas

MANILA, Philippines - A fisherman found the body of an eight-year-old boy floating off Navotas Saturday morning.

Navotas City police chief Senior Superintendent Florendo Quibuyen identified the victim as John Paul Condem Luduvice, a resident of Sta. Ana, Manila. He said that the boy fell on a creek near Pasig River on his way home from school at around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday as he tried to reach his handkerchief.

The boy was still in his brown short pants, white shirt, white socks and black rubber shoes when fished out by fisherman Dennis Tranguia.
