BI nabs alleged pedophile
MANILA, Philippines - An American man accused of sexually abusing a minor in the United States was arrested May 18 at his house in Antipolo, Rizal, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said yesterday.
In a statement, BI chief Ricardo David Jr. said immigration agents apprehended Kenneth Ramon Price, 44, after US authorities asked for assistance after Price allegedly violated the conditions of his parole and fled to the Philippines, where he has been hiding since July 2004.
Price was earlier charged before a superior court in Maricopa County, Arizona with the crimes of sexual conduct with a minor, molestation of a child and sexual abuse.
“The US state department has already revoked his passport, thus he will be deported for being an undocumented alien,” BI spokesperson Ma. Antonette Mangrobang said.
