MANILA, Philippines - A Malaysian Airlines flight from Sabah to Kaohsiung, Taiwan made an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Saturday night after cracks appeared in the cockpit glass following a collision with an unidentified object.

The B738 plane landed safely and the 137 passengers were brought to the nearest hotels for an overnight stay, shouldered by the airline. The plane was towed for repairs.

Taiwan officials said none of the passengers were injured, and they were able to leave for Kaohsiung at around 4 p.m. the next day.
