Dead baby dumped in Malabon

MANILA, Philippines -  The body of a baby boy was found in the early stages of decomposition near a village marker yesterday in Malabon City.

Police Officer 3 Edsel de la Paz said the baby, about seven or eight months old, was found along Kagitingan street, beside an arch marking the boundary of Barangay Muzon. He said the baby may have been dead for two or three days before it was found.

De la Paz said the baby’s left arm was mutilated, apparently eaten by animals. Police said the body has been sent to a funeral home.
