Delivery truck hijacked in Caloocan
MANILA, Philippines - A truck filled with assorted merchandise intended for delivery to clients in Camanava was hijacked by still unidentified persons early yesterday in Caloocan City. Senior Inspector Amer Magsumbol of the Scene of the Crime Operatives who processed the crime scene identified the shipper-victim as Fast Cargo Logistics Corp. (FCLC) on Virgo Drive, Honorio Lopez Boulevard, Manila. Magsumbol said the truck’s driver and helper, identified only as “C. Logria” and “M. Erigir,” based on a vehicle trip report found inside the orange Mitsubishi Canter where the missing goods were loaded, are still missing as of presstime. Police said, however, the names are to be verified from shipper officials. Reports showed the truck was earlier reported as not having reached its intended destination. The truck was later found empty at around 2 a.m. by police at the ITC Compound in Barangay Bagbaguin in North Caloocan.
