MANILA, Philippines - A man was beaten up and stabbed dead allegedly by two brothers and their uncle during a brawl over the parking of a vehicle in Quezon City Sunday night.
Isagani Cruz, 49, of Barangay Gulod, Novaliches, was declared dead on arrival at the Bernardo Hospital.
Police Officer 2 Jogene Hernandez said they have Angelo Dizon, 32, and his uncle Virgilio Dizon, 67, in custody. He said Angelo’s younger brother, Pricillo, 30, escaped following the brawl, which occurred at around 11 p.m.
Cruz was driving home when he found that he could not pass through the street because Pricillo’s car, parked in front of the suspect’s house, was blocking his way.
Cruz was with his 12-year-old son and his brother Hajie, 43, who admitted his brother had some drinks prior to the incident.
Cruz reportedly went out of his car and confronted Pricillo. A heated argument led to a brawl, and the suspects allegedly ganged up on Cruz and stabbed him.
