Water interruption in QC areas today

MANILA, Philippines - Maynilad Water Services Inc. announced that parts of Quezon City will experience water service interruption today and tomorrow due to the upgrading of its water pipe network.

In an advisory, parts of Barangays Holy Spirit,  Batasan Hills,  Commonwealth, Old Balara, North Fairview, Greater Fairview, Santa Lucia, Gulod, Sauyo, Barangay San Bartolome, Bagbag and Talipapa, will be waterless from 10 p.m. today to 2 p.m. tomorrow.

Maynilad said it will undertake replacement of 600-mm butterfly valves along Regalado Avenue, corner Dahlia Street; along Dahlia Street near corner Regalado Avenue; and along Dahlia Street corner Chestnut Street, in Fairview, Quezon City.

It advised customers in the said barangays to store enough water for the duration of the water service interruption.

Affected customers were also advised to call the Maynilad Hotline 1626 for updates and additional information.
