120 bus company sinubpoena ng LTFRB

MANILA, Philippines –  Umaabot na sa 120 passenger bus com­pany ang na-subpoena ng  Land Trans­por­tation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB­) para magpaliwanag kung bakit naki­isa sa tigil-pasada noong nakaraang Lunes bilang protesta sa number-coding scheme ng Metro Manila Developement Authority (MMDA).

Sinabi ni Atty. Manuel Iway, board member ng LTFRB, uunahin nilang isalang sa hearing sa darating na Huwebes ang mga bus operator na wala ni isang bus unit na pinabiyahe. Napag-alaman sa monitoring ng LTFRB na nangunguna sa listahan ang Baclaran Metro Link bus na may 72 units.

Maging ang operator ng Marikina Auto Link Transport na may 64 unit ay kanilang ipina­tawag pati na ang Laguna Bus System na may 34 bus unit, Admiral Transport Corporation na may 63 bus unit, Aero Bus Transport Corpo­ration na may 15 bus unit at Alabang Metro Bus na may 19 unit.

Ayon kay Iway, sampung kaso o sampung bus operator lamang ang kanilang kayang isa­­lang sa paunang hearing.
