MANILA, Philippines - An employee of the Cebu Pacific Airlines was stabbed by one of two motorcycle-riding suspects in Pasay City while on her way to her work the other day.
Police identified the victim as Mary Joy De Guzman, 28, a resident of 14th 21st street, Barangay Villamor, Pasay. The suspects immediately fled after the incident towards Andrew Avenue, Maricaban.
A concerned taxi driver rushed the victim to the San Juan De Dios Hospital.
NAIA terminal III security guard James Rivera told Police Officer 3 (PO3) Rodolfo Suquina and Police Officer 3 (PO3) Simon Respicio of the Pasay police Station and Investigation and Detective Management Section, that he saw two unidentified men riding in tandem in a motorcycle with no license plates and one of them suddenly grabbed and attacked the victim.
Police theorized that the incident could not be a case of robbery because the suspects did not take the valuables of the victim.
