MANILA, Philippines - Aviation security police stopped a doctor accused of robbery from boarding a flight for Davao City at the domestic airport in Pasay City on Saturday.
Superintendent Ranier Valones of the Aviation Security Group said Dr. Nestor Arce of Davao was ordered arrested by Judge Silverio Mandalupe of the Davao City Municipal Trial Court on charges of robbery last June 2.
Arce posted a P12,000 bail and was flown to Davao City escorted by aviation police yesterday. Arce was accused by his business partner, Jerry Murao, of taking away without Murao’s knowledge some 16 air-conditioners and about 600 chairs from the nursing review center they are operating.
