MANILA, Philippines - The bodies of two unidentified men were found in Manila and Quezon City Sunday night.
Senior Police Officer 1 Joel Landicho of Pasay City said the body was discovered floating in Manila Bay along the seawall of the Cultural Center of the Philippines complex by tennis trainer Christopher Miranda, 40, at about 7:15 p.m.
Police described the man as 5’9” tall, between 60 and 65 years old, thin, fair-skinned, and has a birthmark between his eyebrows. The man was clad in black pants and a striped beige polo shirt.
Chief Inspector Abraham Tecson, member of the Southern Police District Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO), said the body bore bruises on both arms.
The body is with the Veronica Funeral Parlor pending relatives’ identification.
In Quezon City, witnesses Reynaldo Antido and Joey Grona were on their way home when they saw a body in Kasun-duan Creek along Commonwealth Avenue at around 11:30 p.m.
Police described the victim as about 5’9” tall, 30 to 35 years old, slim, and wearing brown shorts and a black sando.
SOCO found no external injuries on the body except for abrasions on the chin. The body was taken to the crime laboratory for autopsy.
