Traffic re-routed for Araw ng Makati parade

MANILA, Philippines - The Makati City’s Department of Public Safety (DPS) will implement re-routing today to give way to the 340th “Araw ng Makati” grand parade.

DPS director Hermenigildo San Miguel said the rerouting advised the passenger buses coming from EDSA to turn right on Gil Puyat Avenue to reach their destinations.

San Miguel said all vehicles coming from the South Luzon Expressway are advised to take Gil Puyat Avenue and turn left on EDSA.

San Miguel said starting 8 p.m. last night up to 12 noon today, both lanes of Ayala Avenue from Makati Avenue up to Herrera Street; both lanes of Paseo de Roxas from Sedeno street to Dela Rosa street; and Rufino street from Valero to Dela Rosa street will be closed to traffic.

He said they will also close Malugay street to traffic from 12 noon to 4 p.m. today.
