MPD reshuffles officials

MANILA, Philippines - Manila Police District (MPD) director Chief Superintendent Rodolfo Magtibay reshuffled yesterday several key officials in his command.

Sta. Cruz police station chief Superintendent Nelson Yabut took over the command of the MPD’s District Public Safety Management Battalion.

District Investigation and Detective Management Division chief Superintendent James Afalla is the new head of the Sta. Cruz police station, while Superintendent Ferdinand Quirante replaced Afalla at his former post.

District Logistics Division head Superintendent Abad Osit is the new commander of the District Field Force Unit, while Chief Inspector Luis Francisco took over Osit’s post.

Chief Inspector Arnold Ibay is the new chief of the District Mobile Patrol Group.
