Abalos assures Teodoro of support

MANILA, Philippines - Mandaluyong Mayor Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. assured administration party standard-bearer Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro Jr. of his unwavering support during a campaign rally last week.

He said his support for Teodoro has never been affected in any way even after a number of their partymates withdrew their support for him in favor of other presidential contenders.

Abalos, who is concurrently the president of Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) and League of Cities of the Philippines, said Teodoro continues to enjoy his full support because he believes he is the most qualified and capable among those vying for the presidency.

“I still go for him [Teodoro] knowing that he has all the needed qualities to lead the nation, and effectively institute government reforms,” he said.
