MANILA, Philippines - The body of a man believed to be a victim of summary execution was found along Mango Road in Barangay Potrero, Malabon City Saturday night.
Police said the victim’s face was covered with packaging tape; his hands and feet were also bound with the tape, and a nylon cord was looped around his neck.
Police said the man, described to be between 35 and 40 years old, was wearing blue shorts and a white T-shirt.
When the body was searched for identification papers, the police found in his pocket a sachet of dried marijuana leaves.
Police brought the victim’s body to the Eusebio Funeral Homes for autopsy. – Pete Laude
