National Museum closed for Holy Week

MANILA, Philippines - In observance of the Lenten season and to give way to annual maintenance activities, the National Museum exhibit galleries – the Museum of the Filipino People, National Art Gallery, Planetarium and the National Museum branches all over the country – are closed to public viewing from March 31 to April 4.

The National Museum Marinduque branch, however, is open the entire Holy Week due to the Moriones Festival, an annual activity during Lenten season.

The National Museum branches will reopen on April 5, except for its Cebu branch, which will re-open on April 6. The Planetarium will re-open on April 6 and the Museum of the Filipino People and National Art Gallery on April 7.
