Cuerpo pinasasagot

MANILA, Philippines - Pinasasagot ng Commission on Audit si suspended Rodriguez Mayor Pedro Cuerpo sa umano’y may P300 milyong halaga ng mga proyekto na hindi dumaan sa maayos na proseso.

Kinukwestyon ng COA ang umano’y pag-bid, pag-kontrata at pag-implementa ni Cuerpo ng tatlong infrastructure projects sa bayan ng Rodriguez nang wala man lamang na appropriation, budget o pondo.

Dahil dito, kinakailangang managot umano si Cuerpo base sa isinasaad ng Republic Act 9184 o “An Act Provicing for the Modernization, Standarization and Regulation of the Procurement Activities of the Government and for other purposes”.

Base sa rekord ng COA, umaabot umano sa P29, 999, 338 ang halaga ng tatlong proyekto. (Danilo Garcia)
