MANILA, Philippines - A suspected drug user-pusher was nabbed by operatives of the Parañaque police Friday.
Police Officer Roderick Cayas, officer-on-case, identified the suspect as 42-year-old Edgardo Villanos, a driver. Villanos was apprehended by elements of the Station Anti-Ilegal Drugs Division in front of a fastfood joint located along Ninoy Aquino Avenue, corner B. Medina Street in Parañaque City late Friday afternoon.
Recovered from Villanos was a heat-sealed transparent sachet containing undetermined amount of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu. Appropriate charges are being readied against the suspect who is now detained at the police station. – Rhodina Villanueva
