MANILA, Philippines - Four persons were hurt in an accident that involved two vehicles cruising along the southbound lane of the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) yesterday morning.
Manny Prades of Philippine National Construction Corp. (PNCC) said a Toyota Revo (WJK-817) was speeding when its left rear tire burst near the National Bilibid Prisons area in Susana Heights at about 7:55 a.m.
Prades said the driver of the Revo then tried to maneuver the vehicle to the side of the road when the Hyundai Starex van (ZPF-838) hit it. The latter was allegedly tailing the Revo before the accident happened.
The Revo turned over while the Starex crashed into the steel railings as a result of the collision.
Prades said four people on board the Revo sustained minor injuries and were brought to the Ospital ng Muntinlupa for treatment. – Rhodina Villanueva
