Burnt body found along C-5 Road

MANILA, Philippines - Policemen on patrol discovered the body of a woman burned beyond recognition along C-5 Road in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City early yesterday.

Police Officer 2 Allan Corpus said the crew led by PO1 Oscar Gutierrez was patrolling C-5 Road at around 12:30 a.m. when they saw flames along the shoulder of the southbound lane.

The policemen saw it was a woman’s body that had been set on fire, and the McKinley security office provided a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.

Crime scene investigators, led by Chief Inspector Allan Mangalip, recovered four cigarette butts and one burned shirt.  – Rhodina Villanueva
