Parents still searching for missing toddler

-

MANILA, Philippines - The parents of a three-year-old boy who went missing eight months ago just outside their house at Barracks 2 in Tala, Caloocan City asked yesterday for any information on their son’s whereabouts.

The boy’s father, Nomer Bombe, 27, said his son, Carlito, whom they nicknamed Titots, said his only child was last seen playing with other children at a birthday party at their neighbor’s house last Dec. 7.

Nomer said he feels Totits “is still alive” and that he would “continue searching, hoping that someday I would find him.”

According to Nomer, his wife was busy washing clothes when she noticed the boy was gone. He believes somebody could be keeping Totits all this time.

“There’s no river or canal here in our area where he could have stumble or fall, besides that was a December and had no rain,” he said.

Nomer said he will not file charges against the ones who have custody of his son. He said he has sought the help of other media outlets since last year. – Pete Laude
