27 loose firearms nasamsam

MANILA, Philippines - Limang buwan na lang ang nalalabi para sa implementasyon ng election gun ban, aabot sa 27 assorted na armas ang nasamsam ng tropa ng Quezon City Police matapos ang mahigpit na pagpapatupad laban sa nagdadala ng hindi lisensyadong baril.

Ayon kay Chief Superintendent Elmo San Diego, QCPD director, ang naturang bilang ay itinuturing na pinakamalaking huli ngayong buwan lamang ng July matapos ipatupad ang progra­mang “Oplan Boga” ng kanilang kagawaran.

Sinasabing ang 27 armas ay kinabibilangan ng revolvers at shotguns, 21 rito ay mula sa 56 na security guards ng Alliance For Philippine Security Guard Cooperative Agency (AFPSEGCO) at 10 ay sa mga sibilyan. (Ricky Tulipat)
