Website owners eyed as state witnesses in Hayden sex video case

MANILA, Philippines - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is looking into possibly naming the maintainers of a website, in which the sex videos of cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hayden Kho were first uploaded, as state witnesses.

“We will see because their testimonies will be evaluated, before they could be admitted as state witnesses,” said NBI Director Nestor Mantaring, during a press conference held at the NBI headquarters in Manila yesterday.

The two arrested maintainers were identified as brothers Marvin and Joe Bert Lazarte, owners of the website www.fleshasiadaily.com, the local website that uploaded the sex videos of Hayden Kho with actress and model Katrina Halili, commercial model Maricar Reyes and an unnamed Brazilian commercial model.

The Lazarte brothers also gave other information that the NBI will follow up to find out who sent the brothers the video clips.

“The brothers said that, although they admitted they uploaded the videos, they have not identified who sent them the videos,” Mantaring said.

Mantaring said the investigation is being conducted by the NBI’s Anti-Fraud and Computer Crimes Division (AFCCD).

“They have very good leads that would lead to the identities of the senders of the e-mail with these video attachments,” he said. – Sandy Araneta
