MANILA, Philippines - Quezon City Vice Mayor Herbert “Bistek” Bautista is seeking a 20 percent discount for students riding the Metro Rail Transit and the Light Railway Transit.
In a statement issued yesterday, he said students should get fare discounts to help the government entice the youth to go back to school and finish their studies.
He suggested a 20 percent discount be in effect from Monday to Saturday starting this month. – Perseus Echeminada
