Worker falls to death at school gym

MANILA, Philippines - A construction worker died after falling 25 feet to the ground at a school’s covered court in Quezon City Friday afternoon.

Ace Arnold Senita, 20, of Caloocan City, fell head first when the scaffolding at a construction site at the Grace Christian College’s covered court collapsed at 2:30 p.m.

Police Officer 3 Joseph Madrid said Senita was dead on arrival at the MCU Hospital, while his co-worker survived by holding on to a beam. – Reinir Padua
