MANILA, Philippines - The Muntinlupa police arrested one of the city’s most wanted persons Thursday night.
Senior Superintendent Elmer Jamias, Muntinlupa police chief, said Gerber Mananghaya, 25, a resident of Barangay Putatan, was arrested while he was engaged in a driking session in his neighborhood.
The suspect was arrested based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Patria Manalastas-De Leon of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 206.
Mananghaya, the primary suspect in the murder of his live-in partner almost three years ago, was later tagged as the 12th most wanted person in the city. He is detained at the city jail. – Rhodina Villanueva
