2 murder suspects arrested in Marikina

MANILA, Philippines - Police arrested yesterday two suspects in the murder of a teenager inside a computer shop in Marikina City Saturday.

Marlon Singson, 18, and his companion, identified only as alias Meng, were cornered by Marikina Ciy policemen during follow-up operations.

Witnesses identified them as the killers of Art Vincent Sabado, 18.

Reports showed that Sabado was playing a computer game at the RJDJ Computer Shop on Bayabas street in Barangay Nangka when the suspects arrived at about 10:25 p.m. Saturday.

Without a word, Singson pulled out a fan knife and stabbed Sabado in the back, police said. Singson and his companion then escaped.

The Marikina City police are readying murder charges against the suspects who are detained at their detention center. – Non Alquitran
