Quezon City Polytechnic University needs 67 teachers
MANILA, Philippines - The Quezon City Polytechnic University (QCPU) needs 67 teachers for the coming schoolyear for its main campus in Barangay San Bartolome and its two satellite branches in Barangays Sto. Cristo and Batasan Hills.
To qualify, applicants must be holders of masteral or doctorate degrees in the fields of information and communications technology, entrepreneurial management and industrial engineering or other related fields. Applicants must also be strong in general education or liberal arts subjects.
School officials are expecting an increase in the number of QCPU enrollees for schoolyear 2009-2010.
QCPU president Ofelia Carague said a four-storey 23-classroom school building will soon be inaugurated in the San Bartolome campus to accommodate a larger number of incoming freshmen.
The new building, facing the KorPhil Information Training Center, is part of the city government’s continuing effort to transform QCPU into a highly-competitive technological university. Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr. vowed to see the QCPU’s “great transformation” during his term.
