Another early morning mishap along EDSA claimed the life of a Mapua Institute of Technology student, who was hit by a speeding vehicle in Makati City yesterday.

Police said Kevy Marty Vadeza, 15, of Samar street in Barangay Pitogo, was walking along EDSA’s southbound lane near Estrella street when he was hit by a speeding vehicle of still unknown make heading towards the direction of the Magallanes Interchange at around 4 a.m.

Probers are looking for witnesses who might be able to help them identify the vehicle that hit the teenager and eventually identify its driver. – Michael Punongbayan
