Beauty pageant's final screening set

The Mutya ng Pilipinas Inc. will hold its final screening on Nov. 15 and 16 at the Sulo Hotel in Quezon City. Interested parties may call the secretariat’s office at 924-5051 local 604 or visit the Mutya ng Pilipinas office at the same hotel.

Winners of the Mutya ng Pilipinas are sent to international beauty pageants such as the Miss Asia Pacific International, Miss Tourism International, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year, and Miss Intercontinental.

The Mutya ng Pilipinas winners should embrace a new advocacy, that of protecting Mother Nature. This year’s pageant will be held on Dec. 7 in Puerto Princesa, the cleanest and greenest city in the country.
