The bodies of two alleged robbers who are believed to be victims of summary execution were found dumped near the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) building early morning yesterday.
The police identified the victims as Alexander Corpus and Edito Luprangco, both 34 years old, who were placed on top of each other. They bore gunshot wounds in the head.
Police investigators said the victims were members of the Sigue-Sigue Sputnik Gang and have just been released from the Parañaque City Jail recently.
Senior Police Officer 1 Joel Landicho of the Station Investigation and Detective Management Section, said the bodies were discovered by 33-year-old balut vendor Antonio Gallano, around 4 a.m. along William Street corner F.B. Harrison Street. The hands of the robbers were tied and their faces covered by packaging tape.
Landicho said they also found documents that will prove that the two were recently discharged from jail, in the pockets of the pants the victims wore. The papers read that Corpus, of Sitio San Juan, and Luprangco, of Bacoor, Cavite, were both charged with robbery-holdup.
Landicho added though, they will still coordinate with officials of the Parañaque City Jail to check if indeed the two were released from prison.
