Pasig to extend support to city college

-

Pasig City Mayor Robert Eusebio vowed to extend additional support to the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP) after the city college posted an 82 percent passing mark in the last nursing licensure examination.

The PLP placed eighth overall along with the St. Paul College, Quezon City among nursing schools that fielded 30 to 99 examinees in the said exams.

“Our students have reciprocated excellently the full support extended by the local government,” Eusebio said. Since the school’s nursing graduates started taking the said licensure exams, PLP consistently achieved more than 80 percent passing average, way above the national average. This year the national passing average is only 43 percent.

Eusebio vowed to continue prioritizing education in his programs to improve the lives of city residents.

He promised to give students additional support so the PLP would attain a 100 percent passing rate in future nursing examinations. – Non Alquitran
