A man who had just gotten out of prison was stabbed to death in Quezon City over the weekend.
The culprit remains to be identified but police said the suspect could be from among those Rafael Amisola, 26, may have wronged.
Amisola got out of prison Feb. 14 after a child abuse case against him was dismissed because the victim – not related to him – had not been attending court hearings.
Police Officer 2 Joycelyn Marcelo said Amisola was also implicated in other cases, including theft.
But at 10 p.m. last Saturday, an unidentified man attacked Amisola near his residence in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay.
According to a police report, Amisola was walking with a male friend to a computer shop when the suspect approached them and repeatedly stabbed Amisola. – Reinir Padua
