Businessman, driver hurt in carjacking
A businessman lost his brand-new car to armed men who shot him and pistol-whipped his driver early morning yesterday in
Warren Ng was brought to the St. Luke’s
Ng, who resides in New Manila,
Senior Police Officer 1 Pio Torrecampo said the carjacking involved around five men with handguns and long firearms and wearing bonnets.

Amorado momentarily parked the vehicle just as Ng was withdrawing cash from an automated teller machine.
An armed man got off a silver Honda Civic with undetermined plates and demanded the Grandia’s keys from Amorado. When Amorado resisted, the suspect hit him with the M-16 rifle.
At this point, Ng went out of the ATM booth and the suspect demanded the cash he had just withdrawn. When Ng refused, the suspect fired at him.
When both victims had fallen, the suspects fled with Ng’s car but failed to take the cash.
