Valenzuela b’gay execs get accident  insurance

Barangay officials in Valenzuela City will receive accident insurance policies worth P100,000, according to Councilor Alvin Feliciano, Valenzuela City Liga ng mga Barangay president.

Feliciano said he will personally distribute the insurance policies to barangay councilors, watchmen, secretaries and treasurers, as well as Sangguniang Kabataan chairmen.

“It would enable local leaders to perform their duties without apprehensions (about) where their respective families would get financial assistance the moment that they encounter an accident,” he said. – Pete Laude
