7-hour water cut-off in Malabon, Navotas, Tondo

Some areas of Malabon/Navotas and Tondo, Manila, will have low pressure to no water for seven hours starting at 11 p.m. tomorrow until 6 a.m., Friday, May 23.

An advisory from the Maynilad Water Services Inc. yesterday said the water service interruption is due to the interconnection of the 300-mm line to the existing 400-mm mainline along Rodriguez St., corner Honorio Lopez Blvd., Balut, Tondo, Manila.

The areas that will have low pressure to no water for seven hours include Barangays Longos, North Bay and San Rafael in Malabon/Navotas; and Barangays 129 to 146 in Balut, Tondo, Manila.

The repair and maintenance works are part of Maynilad’s continuing program to upgrade and improve its service to customers in these areas.

The affected customers are advised to store water good for the duration of  the water service interruption. Customers may also call Maynilad Water hotline 1626.  — Sandy Araneta
