Woman found dead in Valenzuela

A woman’s body, with a kitchen knife still embedded in her belly, was found on the side of the road by a resident in Sitio Tatalon, Barangay Ugong, Valenzuela City yesterday morning.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Ranier Idio said the woman was about 40 to 45 years old, 4 feet and 11 inches tall, fair-skinned and wearing a yellow sando and blue slacks.

The woman’s head bore bruises and contusions. The police found a bloodstained striped polo shirt, a red shirt marked “AIB,” and a face towel near the body.  – Jerry Botial
