2 Baywalk Bodies members lose cash to fake talent agent

-

Two starlets lost at least P17,000 in cash and valuables while they were inside a salon Tuesday afternoon to a woman who posed as a talent agent.

According to a report from the Quezon City Police District-Station 10, Iris Iñigo, 17, lost P12,000 in cash, two cellular phones and earrings.

Her companion, Pantene Palanca, 21, lost P5,000 in cash, two cellular phones, an automated teller machine card and identification cards.

The two victims are members of the all-women entertainment group “Baywalk Bodies.”

According to the victims, the still unidentified woman took their bags while they were inside the bathroom of a hair salon on Roces Avenue in Quezon City at around 4 p.m.

Prior to this, Iñigo and Palanca reportedly met the suspect in a mall. They said the woman introduced herself as a talent agent offering them a stint to model for a jeans brand.

But before the photo shoot for the supposed endorsement, the two models were to undergo a makeover at the salon.

Little did the two women know that it was just a ploy for the suspect to take their bags.        – Reinir Padua
