Girl, 16, disappears during graduation practice

- Pete Laude -

The family of a high school senior in Caloocan City has been looking for her since she disappeared during a break in her school’s graduation practice on March 17.

The classmates of Angeline Antenor, 16, said that when they resumed practicing after an hour-long break at the Calderon High School on J. Abad Santos street in Tondo, they could no longer find her, according to Antenor’s aunt, Virginia Nuñez.

Nuñez said her niece has been missing since then. Angeline’s uncle, Sonny Casipit, said his niece told her mother just before she left for school that she would only attend their graduation practice then return home.

Casipit described Angeline as slim, fair-complexioned, 5’3’’ tall and with long straight hair.

The girl’s family had already coordinated with local authorities, including the school’s guidance counselor Myrna Besa, but their efforts to locate Angeline were futile.

The girl’s relatives are appealing to anybody who might have information about Angeline’s whereabouts to contact them at telephone number 468-7506 or 0919-6714275 or report it to their local police or barangay leaders.
