Car of Gary V’s son rams jeep in Taguig

The son of singer Gary Valenciano figured in an accident after the car he was driving rammed an owner-type jeep along C-5 Road in Taguig City yesterday.  

Juan Paolo Valenciano, the eldest son of the popular singer, was driving a Suzuki car with license plates ZEH-524 when he accidentally bumped the jeep with license plates DHA-405 which was coming out of a gas station.

Police Officer 2 Jerizaldo Gawain said the incident happened around 5 a.m. at the northbound lane of C-5 Road at the corner of the Palar Village in Barangay Western Bicutan.

Gawain said the car of the younger Valenciano initially hit a concrete barrier then rammed the jeep driven by a Eliberto Mendoza.

Valenciano told police investigators that he did not notice the jeep coming out of the gas station.

Investigators said that no case has been filed since the two parties entered into an amicable settlement.   – Rhodina Villanueva
