Five men shot and killed an employee who had just withdrawn P50,000 from a bank in Caloocan City Thursday.
Eugene Pablo of Potrero, Malabon City was in a Toyota Grandia driven by Delfin Santos when the suspects struck at around 12:20 p.m. just as Santos had driven past the corner of Calle Uno and Gen. Simon street.
One of the suspects shot Pablo when he refused to open the right front passenger door. The suspect then grabbed a bag containing the money Pablo had withdrawn. Santos was unharmed.
Pablo was taken to the MCU Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Police recovered a spent shell from a .45 caliber pistol. No arrests have been made. – Jerry Botial
