Man stabs neighbor for complaining

A factory worker was stabbed dead for complaining after a neighbor brazenly urinated in front of him yesterday in Valenzuela City.

Police identified the suspect as Jimar Anunsiado, 26, pedicab driver, Domingo Compound in Barangay Rincon. He fled with the weapon shortly after the stabbing and remains at large.

The fatality was identified as Dennis Guira, 25, also of Domingo Compound.

Police said Guira, together with friends Rhasel Bimeda and Jhewin Abalos, was standing by the compound’s gate at around midnight when Anunsiado arrived.

Anunsiado faced the group, opened his fly and urinated in front of them. This did not sit well with Guira, who confronted the suspect. A heated exchange of words ensued but cooler heads pacified the two men. Anunsiado was prevailed upon to go home.

Anunsiado, who insisted he was only joking, returned to the area and attacked Guira, who was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. – Jerry Botial
