Motorcycle robber caught in QC

Quezon City policemen arrested Friday night a suspected robber who had been tagged as responsible for the series of robberies in Barangay Silangan. 

Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Magtanggol Gatdula said the suspect, Lucman Sultan, a native of Marawi City and temporary resident in Sitio Pugot, was cornered Friday evening by responding policemen after he forcibly took a Honda XRM motorcycle owned by a firefighter.            

Police reports have it that Sultan reportedly leads a three-man robbery gang targeting pedestrians and motorcycle riders passing through the area. 

Gatdula said policemen were able to recover two motorcycles at Sultan’s hideout. 

The police have launched a manhunt for the two other members of Sultan’s gang. – Perseus Echeminada
