CSC commends Valenzuela for excellent public service

-

The Civil Service Commission commended the Valenzuela City government for the excellent delivery of public service by two of its frontline offices during the CSC’s Public Service Delivery Audit (PASADA) held last week in Quezon City.

Valenzuela Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian said the 2007 CSC PASADA cited the city’s building official department, particularly its receiving and releasing section, and the business permits and license office for their efforts in providing the best service to residents.

“This is another proof that the city government of Valenzuela prioritizes its clientele by way of fast and efficient services. I hope that this will serve as an inspiration for other departments to follow and also, challenge them to improve in their ways of providing excellent public service,” Gatchalian said.

The CSC search for PASADA awardees was conducted in 35 government agencies in Metro Manila through volunteers who posed as clients to determine which offices are deserving of the award.

The criteria for selection are behavior and efficiency of the service provider, the quality of service, and the physical working condition of the respective offices being evaluated. – Pete Laude
