Northern Police District (NPD) intelligence agents arrested four people, two of them minors, during operations against wanted individuals Thursday night.
Superintendent Reynaldo Orante, NPD-District Police Intelligence Unit (DPIU) chief, identified the suspects as Judith Gonzales, 49, a resident of Fish Port Complex, Navotas City; and two girls identified only as Genelyn, 15, and Miriam, 17.
The three suspects were subjects of a warrant of arrest for robbery issued by Malabon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 169 Judge Emmanuel Laurea.
DPIU agents, led by Senior Police Officer 4 Antonio Tenorio and SPO4 Pancho Labrador, arrested Gonzales and the two minors at Pier 1, Navotas Fish Port Complex at around 7 p.m.
In another operation, the NPD-District Intelligence and Investigation Division (DIID) arrested Marcos Masiddo, 35, alias Marco Taron, who is wanted for murder in Caloocan City.
DIID chief investigator Senior Inspector Romeo Onte said Masiddo, a native of Isabela, was arrested at his residence in Sta. Cruz, Manila through a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maria Nena Santos of Valenzuela City RTC Branch 171.
NPD-DIID chief Superintendent Rafael Santiago said the operations were part of NPD’s intensified drive against wanted persons on orders of NPD director Chief Superintendent Pedro Tango. – Pete Laude
