PACU celebrates anniversary
The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU), the oldest educational organization in the country, will celebrate its 75th founding anniversary this year.
Fabian Quitales, executive director of PACU, said that the highlight of their anniversary celebration will be their holding of a national conference with the theme “75 Years of Transformative Private Education for the Global Filipino,” to be held on Aug. 17, 2007 at the Century Park Hotel.
It will be attended by presidents and top administrators of PACU member institutions that include the
Dr. Di Yerburry, a respected and internationally recognized educator and academician and former chancellor of
PACU, will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a membership of 158 of the biggest private colleges and universities nationwide with around 1.7 million students and around 36,000 faculty and non-teaching employees.
