Parañaque hikes wage of City Hall employees

- Rhodina Villanueva -

Parañaque City Mayor Florencio Bernabe has finally approved the 10-percent increase in the salaries of city employees.

The salary adjustment will take effect this month. This was made possible through the Department of Budget and Management Circular No. 86 dated June 18, 2007 which points out the rules and regulations concerning the Grant of 10-percent Salary Adjustment to Local Government personnel which covers permanent, casual and job order employees.

“This is great news for our city employees because all the developments and progress that we have achieved would not be possible without their hardwork,” Mayor Bernabe said.

Bernabe said that addressing the needs of city employees is also one of the important factors in the successful delivery of services to the people of Parañaque.

He expressed thanks to the city employees for their help and contribution and urged them to continue their dedication to their work, saying there is no greater calling than helping the city and its residents rise to a new level of progress.
